Barb's Cranberry/Blueberry sauce

1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup fresh orange juice
8 oz / 1 cup fresh cranberries
1 tablespoon orange zest
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine all ingredients in medium sauce pan over medium heat.
Cook until sugar dissolves and berries soften, about 15 to 25 minutes.
Remove from yea, cover and chill.
Best made in advance to let flavors blend.

Can be put over cream cheese or served alone. Makes 12 quarter-cup servings
Great on crackers also.
