Walking isn't the only way to reach the huts!

The food is good at the huts. Sometimes we just guess at what we're ordering because the servers don't speak English, we don't read German & we have no cell coverage to use Google translate. Certainly not starving!!

Walking UUUUUP to the Rosshütte, the funicular passed us. Seefeld is in the distance. We are staying at the bottom of the ski run on the other side of the valley.

Kaltwassersee, a high alpine reservoir used to supply water for snow cannons in the nearby ski area.

We passed horses & cows as we continued our walk UP and UP the steep ski slope. We rode a cable car and funicular back down to the bottom. Still saving our knees!

Part of the trail between 2 huts in the Gaistal Valley. Enjoyed the level trail & shade!

A trail took us along the Leutascher Ache. The river was so clear and a beautiful turquoise color.
