Munich,
Germany
We're back in Munich where we started our European travels 9 weeks ago. The
time has flown by! The scenery and hiking has been amazing. People have been
so friendly, kind and helpful. Most every evening we comment to each other,
"what a great day"! We've enjoyed sharing our travels through this
blog, thanks to Nancy Ellis. Nancy does all the work putting everything together.

Back in the big city. STARBUCKS was a |
Walked back to New Town Hall, lots more people here
than back in May! It's good to see clear skies. We experienced a huge
thunderstorm last night in Oberammergau, thunder, lightning, rain and
hail. |
Enjoyed street music as we wandered. The group was playing
Mama Mia and the little guy jumped up to conduct. He had rhythm! |

Lots of people out enjoying the day. Rumor has it July
and August are the busiest times for European tourism. Seems like that's
true! |

The cream colored vehicles are taxis. Tomorrow we'll catch a train to
the airport, very convenient! |
Seems like we covered a lot of ground, but the distances
aren't all that far. From Ljubljana, Slovenia to Chamonix, France the
driving distance is just 450 miles! |
