We played some golf. This is Palmer golf course in the Mat-Su Valley, 50 miles north of Anchorage.

Anchorage GC is hosting the USGA senior women's am at the end of the month. Many friends are volunteering for the event.

Because of the limited Alaska road system, planes are a common method of travel. Bush planes with wheels, skis or floats are capable of landing just about anywhere. This float plane is at Lake Hood seaplane base, the busiest seaplane base in the world.

Sleepy Hollow GC in Wasilla. A par 3 - 9 hole course at the base of the Talkeetna Mtn Range. Another day of beautiful views & golfing with friends.

The JBER military base has 2 18 hole courses. The Hill & The Creek. This is a stand of fireweed along the Creek course.
