Medicine
Hat, Alberta CN. This is the Saamis Teepee built for the 1988 Winter
Olympics held in Calgary. It was moved in 1991 & represents the
First Nations heritage on circular storyboards. |
Wandered
around Medicine Hat looking at all the wall murals. Found this outdoor
pub for a refreshing beverage. |
River
Park campground in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Temps were in the 90's so
we put a magnetic screen on the back hatch for more air circulation. |
|
A
common sight driving on highway 1 - the trans Canada, oil & canola
fields. |
This
is at the entrance of the International Peace Garden. The Gardens are
located adjacent to the International Peace Garden Border Crossing along
the Canada-United States border between Manitoba and North Dakota. |
Bottineau,
North Dakota. Tommy the turtle is a local landmark. |
|
Fun
public art sculpture in Grand Forks, North Dakota. |
Bemidji,
Minnesota. Linda visiting with Paul Bunyon & Babe. |
The
stadium is located in downtown Minneapolis, a few blocks from the hotel.
Unfortunately the Vikings are not here yet. |
|
St.
Anthony Falls along the Mississippi River in Minneapolis. There are
many walking & bike trails along the river. |
The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden featured many different artists & styles. Great walking opportunities right from the hotel. |
Walked
all over downtown near the Nicolette Mall. Many high rises seem to have
mirrored windows. We enjoyed the reflections. |
