Roxy and Linda's Bicycle Blog

1st posting on June 4, 2013 ..... Back to the welcome page and listings for other links

We're sitting in the Sisters coffee shop trying to figure what to write in a BLOG and where are those photos? And actually spent a bit of time trying to even get to the email account. We're sure it'll get easier??
.....
After having a great day of golf at Arizona Grand with Nancy & Yolie, we headed back to the condo to get the last of our stuff organized. Where did it all come from? Got the car packed, headed off from Mesa, AZ toward Bend, Oregon, 3 days for about 1200 miles of driving. Very happy to be in the car after many mountain passes over 5000 feet. For any of you that like road trips, we highly recommend HWY 395 on the east side of the Sierras. The scenery was awesome. Some of the highlights were the Alabama Hills near Lone Pine, CA; Mono Lake near Lee Vining, CA; countless mountain views.
.....
From Susanville, CA we headed towards Oregon enjoying forests, views of Mt. Shasta, open range, farmland, the Cascade Mountains and Crater Lake National Park. OMG, at Crater Lake we actually had to get out shoes, socks & sweatshirts as there was still lots of snow
.....
After our taste of winter and enjoying the views, we headed north to Bend, OR. We're currently relaxing with good friends at their gorgeous horse property thinking we really do need to pack the bike panniers. Soon. Surely everything will fit? We'll keep you posted. ..............
