Days 54 - 56 - White Bear, MN - rest days
A fun filled weekend with family. We visited, enjoyed dinners, played cards, listened to accordion music, watched bike polo and a waterski show. Great to reconnect with everyone. This ends our family visiting unless someone finds us on the road as we head east. New adventures await us.

Roxy's Aunt Helen & Aunt Sue, playing some Hand, Foot & Toe.
They managed to snatch a victory from us.

Roxy, Aunt Sue, cousin David with his wife Nancy & Aunt Helen.
A great spaghetti dinner & visit.

David is an accomplished sculptor. This is one of his many creations. These baby blue eyes
seem to be looking at you from every angle. He wouldn't share the secret!
--

David has played & performed with his accordion from a very young age. He entertained us after dinner. The music brought back memories of some very special people. Thanks David.

Love this sculpture sitting in the flower garden outside the White Bear library.

Linda with her sister Karen and husband Alan. Karen and Alan live in Madison, WI and
were in town for a wedding. Great to catch up with them!

Sam, Rachel, Alan, Karen, Caleb, Linda and Rose. Sam and Caleb are are Karen &
Alan's sons, Rachel is Sam's partner. Sam, Rachel and Caleb all live in Minneapolis.
Fun to be all together!

Linda's nephew Sam (in yellow) playing bike polo. Kind of of wild sport, 3 on 3, no dabbing, good balance required and a long reach is helpful. It can be a bit physical sometimes intentional but mostly not. There were a few crashes. Everyone seemed to be having a good time.
--

Spent an evening watching a water-ski performance by the Otter Ski Club on Goose Lake just a couple miles from Rose's home. They have a show every Sunday thru the summer.
There was a large crowd on hand to cheer them on.
--

After the show, we went to dinner at Admiral D's. It's 9 pm, the sun is up, the temp is warm, no bugs & dinner was very good. Life doesn't get much better than this!
