Day 75 - Palmyra, NY to Fulton, NY - 65 miles ............ 3433 total miles
Hills, headwind and beautiful scenery. It's been a while since we've ridden hills, there were some short steep ones today, warming us up for the Adirondacks! Our route took us north to Lake Ontario and then east. We rode past apple orchards all day, very scenic. We stopped at fruit stand that just opened yesterday for a couple fresh peaches. They were delicious! Chatted with local folks at several stops along the way, we're really enjoying the people we're meeting. They're curious and encouraging about our adventure and it gives us a chance to learn a bit more about the area we're riding thru. Tonight we're camping next to a lake in Fulton. Beautiful evening, the sun just set and the moon should be up soon.

Day 76 - Fulton, NY to Boonville, NY -
79 miles ......... 3512 total miles
Beautiful day, rural New York continues to be fascinating with the diversity of the countryside. Today we rode up and down thru forests, fields and smalls towns. It was a huff & puff day of interval training, the hills weren't too long but some were sure steep! Stopped at a diner for lunch with really friendly folks. So many people are saying hello and asking us about our ride. Tonight we're camping at the Brown Barn campground just past Boonville. Great spot, just had a shower and now waiting for laundry to finish. There aren't many motels in the area we're riding thru, sure glad we have the tent and the campgrounds allow tent camping!

We passed many fruit stands, couldn't stop at all of them!

The weeping willow tree is a favorite. Another beautiful morning, the moon is just over the barn.

Our first view of Lake Ontario, at Pultneyville.

The first apples of the season are being harvested. Didn't realize this was one of the methods of loading & transportation.

Lots of sail boats at this marina in Sodus Point. We were watching the mast being set in place.
